Are you concerned about what is happening around us? Show your support on
Friday October 20.
The world does not seem to be getting any better. We have governments actively
selling and justifying a war against terror but are they making the world a
safer place? Does it even look like we are moving in the right direction? To
me, it seems that all we are doing is spreading hatred and fear and dividing the
people that share the world.
How many innocent people have lost their lives? How many soldier have been affected?
This day is
about us, the people that live on this small planet. We should be able to live
together, so why can't we?
On this day, can
you please display a single flower to show that you are concerned about the
needless death and violence that is taking place around us?
The statement
is simple and requires very little effort. Just a few minutes of your time to
display a single flower to show that you care about someone else in this world.
I know I am stating
the obvious; world peace, the freedom to feel safe walking down a street at
night or to travel without fear. If enough people get involved and this day receives
enough attention, then perhaps it will have some impact on some lives
somewhere. And if it does, then it is a step in the right direction…
Any help that
you can provide in spreading the word in any way you can would be greatly
appreciated.
